Four Seasons Vintage Flatbed Truck

Hello all! This is project #7 of my Kingston Crafts Essentials series. This is definitely one of my favorite projects of all time to ever do. I decided to showcase this Vintage Flatbed Truck I got from Simply Crafty SVGs in four different seasons.

Once I got all of my pieces cut out, I went to work on detailing.

I used my Sizzix Big Shot to emboss wood grain on these crates.

Then I grabbed some q-tips and lightly ran some distress ink over the embossed area.

 These little crates were less than 1.5" long.

 I did 14 for the Spring set and 14 for the Fall set.

Each piece was detailed before assembly. 

I also used the airbrush for the edges of the truck, tree, tractor, and pumpkins. 

 Using the Xyron Teresa Collins Mega Runner for assembly.

Here's a little Sugar Tip. If you are putting wheels on something, put it up on two same sized objects to make it level before adding your wheels.

I had some straw from the $ Store lying around and decided to use it to stuff my crates.

Next I created inserts for the Spring flower crates.

I had a bag of the little green moss, also a $ Store purchase, lying around. I think it made a big difference using it!
