Fall Cornucopia
Hello all! Are you ready for Thanksgiving? When I started this project, I knew I wanted to do a Cornucopia. But I was unsure of what I wanted to put in it. Did I want to go traditional with fruit or go more fall themed with flowers? Since paper flowers tend to be a speciality of mine, I set off to do flowers. This little stack below took about 3 full days of cutting, detailing, and shaping.
Next I made three large sunflowers.
I made nine orange rolled flowers, nine red rolled flowers, and nine red daisies as well.
One thing I love while doing flower arrangements is floating color in with my eBrush because I don't have to be a perfectionist while doing this. It's messy, fun, and the outcome is almost always worth it.
I used both my Teresa Collins Mega Runner and the Xyron Creative Station® to adhere my pieces together throughout this project.
Believe it or not, the cone for this was actually the hardest part of the entire project. The flowers were time consuming, but this cone was more difficult probably just because of the thicker cardstock I used.
My final step was to make a tag that I foil embossed with the Xyron Glaminator Foil Laminator, 9" and gold Xyron Transfer Foils for Glaminator.
