Happy Harvest
Hello all! I got this set of Maker's Movement Home For the Holiday's stamp/die set from their new arrivals. When I saw this set, I immediately fell in love with it and thought watercolor would look good. Which is odd for me because I haven't done watercolor in ages.
One of the things I love about this set is that you can use it for a birthday, fall, Christmas, or even the 4th of July/summer celebration.
Knowing that I was going to use watercolors, I didn't want any ink to bleed so I embossed the stamp onto a piece of watercolor paper first.
Heat embossing is one of my favorite use of stamps.
I decided to emboss the truck title in a copper color.
I also did the pumpkins with a copper embossing powder.
Once I had my painting done, I grabbed my Crafter's Edge Crossover II, also found on Maker's Movement's website.
The Crossover II is a manual die cut machine that you can use fabrics and paper products with. Below I have a video showing what this dandy machine does!
Once both pieces are cut, it is time to assemble.
The truck can be left alone or add the stamp/die cut image provided in the stamp/die set.
Next I grabbed some Park Lane paper from the Prairie Primrose stack to make the base of my card.
This set also has several different sentiments to match whatever celebration you are working on.
Finally I ran all my pieces through the Xyron Creative Station Lite®.
