Prairie Primrose Lantern
Hello all! We are one week closer to school starting! Come on September 4th, let's do this already! Meanwhile, I fit in a quick project using Park Lane's Prairie Primrose (found at Joann Fabric and Craft Stores) paper and the lantern from SVGCuts Wildflower Saloon set.
I ran all of my accent pieces through the Xyron Creative Station Lite® to get adhesive on the backs before assembling them to the base cardstock. I decided the printed on acetate paper that comes with this stack was perfect for the middle portion of my lantern. Using AC Double Sided Super Sticky Red Tape to adhere this together was a must as acetate can be difficult to adhere together.
Knowing that the middle was a see through, I decided to cut some vellum and add it to the inside of my cone simply to give it a softer look.
The last step was to cut flowers and greenery from the cardstock provided in the back of this stack to match the printed cardstock. The flowers/greenery are also part of the Wildflower Saloon set, with the exception of the rolled roses.
Oh yeah, I downsized this project to about half the original size because I planned to use a tea light candle in it to light her up!

Oh, your lantern is so sweet. I love the rose printed acetate. It looks so pretty lit up. The colours are perfect for a late summer/fall setting. Thank you for sharing your work! :)
