Valentine's Mailboxes
I was at Joann's the other day and figured I should pick up some of these mailboxes to decorate for my children, instead of having to build new boxes each year. So for the cost of about $12 and some vinyl I had lying around, I was able to complete these two in a day!
These are the medium size mailboxes at 6"H x 8.125"L found here.
Depending on the vinyl, the weeding process can either be easy or difficult. This black vinyl is a thinner quality which on some projects is more of a pain, but this one was simple.
The red vinyl is a much thicker quality vinyl. When it came to weeding the tiny little letters on the second boxes label, I had to do a reverse weeding style.
On this label, my daughters name is actually her own signature. I changed out the 'cards, hearts, blooms, candy' font for a PN Waltzing Matilda Elongated font (found in the Silhouette Design Store) because the original script font on this file did not cut well when downsized dramatically to fit the mailbox front.
