How Have You Bean?
Fall is upon us! Yes, my favorite time of the year. The smells, cooler weather, colors, and celebrations to be had. For this card, I decided to make a play on the controversial pumpkin spice latte. Now me personally, love it. But only from a certain stand.
For this project, the Xyron design team has collaborated with Derwent Academy to show off their
To begin with, I cut some leaves and a pumpkin out using the Derwent Academy Marker Paper Pad so that I could color me some leaves with the Derwent Academy Twin-Tip Markers!
I cut out the top layer of the leaves/pumpkin in the white as well because I wanted to emboss these layers.
I thought a nice copper color would do well with the whole fall theme.
Next I put in some minor shading on the pumpkin by touching the orange tip of the Derwent Academy Twin-Tip Markers to the brown tip.
Next I grabbed a set of coffee stamps I have. Not sure who is the designer, but I know I bought this set from Joann Fabrics and Crafts Store many years ago.
I lined up the circle of the top base of the card onto a square of the Derwent Academy Marker Paper Pad
After the ink dried, I used the Derwent Academy Art Markers to color the steam, beans, and cup.
Next I ran all the pieces through the Xyron Creative Station®
I stacked each piece up before applying to the card base.
I am definitely happy with the copper embossing on these cuts.
