99 problems...
It's been a while since I have done a card challenge. A family member just so happened to go through a surgery so this Bazzill Basic Papers sketch challenge was perfect for what I had in mind.
I started with four Bazzill colors: (left to right)
- Julep
- Peanut Fudge
- Coconut Swirl
- Wax Lips
I later added in a little bit of Butter Mints Bazzill Cardstock for the bandaids.
Once all my pieces were cut out with my Silhouette Cameo 3, I started to assemble.
I grabbed my Xyron Creative Station® with the Xyron® 9” Creative Station™ Home Permanent Refill cartridge to run all the pieces through. I cannot stress this enough, the Xyron Creative Station® has become my go to tool when assembling cards that I don't want to risk warping with glue. It is so easy to use and makes making cards quicker and more efficient.
After I run any piece through, I always take the tip of something and run it around the cut. That just allows the adhesive to come off cleanly when tearing the top film off.
Then I just layered and stacked to assemble my card. It took longer to cut each element than it did to assemble!
Final Project:
