Lawn Fawn Stamps and Dies

This week, the Xyron design team is focusing on Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. There were so many stamps and dies to choose from, it was really hard to make a decision. However, I am always in need of birthday cards. So I decided to go with their 'Year Three' stamps and matching dies. 

I also decided to go with the 'Push Here' stamps and matching dies because I always like to include some sort of movement in my cards and this stamp set is perfect for what I need. 

To begin with, I stamped out my images 

Next I grabbed some color pencils and got to work

The dies cut precisely and were easy to use. In the last photo it shows the extra pieces I colored and cut for the shaker portion of the card.

Now, it is no secret that the DCWV 'Birthday Wishes' stack is one of my favorite stacks.  I felt it was the perfect color combo to go with my stamps and cuts. Once all the pieces were cut, I started the assembly process using my Xyron Mega Runner® .

I used my Xyron Creative Station® and some foam to create the pop up portion for the frame around the shaker confetti.

Once the strips of foam was adhered to the back of the frames, I threw the confetti into the square, put a clear vellum backing on the top frame and adhered it to the top of the stack, effectively creating a shaker.  I added the sequence in with the confetti pieces as well.

The little slice of cake was so easy to assemble. Took less than 2 minutes using my Xyron Mega Runner® .

Final Projects: 

The Lawn Fawn twine is great quality. It wasn't too stiff, but it wasn't a cheap product that frays everywhere.
