Christmas Truck Card
I have a friend who's little boy has been in the hospital for the past three months. Thankfully he has been released and is happy at home. I decided to send him just a little something for some Christmas cheer and get well wishes.
I purchased this Lori Whitlock file from the Silhouette Design store.
I made some really quick modifications to my little truck just to put a little more personal touch on it.
The first change I did was I wanted snow to be somewhere on the truck as well as the tree. To do this, I used the slice tool. I made sure my line was on solid, freehand tool, and I like to choose when to apply so I always take it off auto apply.
I took a copy of the fenders
Using the freehand tool, I was able to wing it and hope that it would look like snow after I sliced it up!
Looks pretty good so I copied the snow x 4 for each fender.
I repeated this process for the tree as well.
The other addition I did was a quick gate around the back of the truck just to bring a bit more of a vintage look to it.
I also used my eBrush to feather in highlights around the edges of the truck.
The last addition I did was create a pocket on the inside layer so I can have my message hidden there.
