Father's Day Part II

I really think I might just have a slight addiction to DCWV paper. I purchased four new stacks the other day. Not because I needed them, well one I really did, but more so because they were on sale! I am a sale crafter.

I didn't need to make this card, but decided last minute to make it from my kids to their daddy for today.

Little did I know, one of the newest stacks 'White Ginger' was going to be the PERFECT fit for this card! The combination of the papers just fit so well for a suit!

With my husband being a software engineer, he has to dress nicely for work. Luckily not this nice as he really only has one tie! BUT I wanted to make this card for a few reasons. One it reminded me of when he comes home from work and gets out of his work clothes and into his dad clothes. Two, the sentiment really is true!
I gave our son the choice of Batman or Superman. He chose Batman because he drives a cool car. The logo and sentiment are done in vinyl.

Materials Used:
DCWV 'White Ginger'
Cardbase, batman logo, and sentiment: http://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/
Aleene's Original Tacky Glue
Scotch Advanced Tape Glue
Elements Brads

  1. That sure is a neat shirt card. I love the paper stack colors. Who cares if you didn't NEED them...it is definitely all about the sale! : )
