Let Freedom Ring

On this Memorial Day, it is important to remember really why many of us have a three day weekend. It isn't about camping, bbqing, or shopping all the sales. It is about remembering those who gave their life in the line of duty to give our freedom to us. 

My small tribute of thanks will be posted here today and Wednesday, 6/1/16.

For the base of this card, I used Mojo Monday's sketch #450

 

After creating the base, twice I didn't like the color combo of the first, I chose a KaDoodle Bug Design file 'Army Penguin'

 The finishing touch was the 'Let Freedom Ring' caption I added to the bottom of this card.
