SVG Attic Birthday Bash
Welcome to the SVG Attic Birthday Bash blog hop! We are celebrating our second year with SnapDragon Snippets, so we decided to throw a blog hop. We are so excited to have you join us today!
At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of SVG Attic's Inspiration Team AND their Guest Design Team. You are sure to find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists!
You should be arriving from Cyndy's blog. If you happened across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to start at the beginning of the hop.
Here is what I created for the hop:
While cruising SVG Attic's blog for ideas, I had no idea where I was going with my project. Then I saw the Summer Fun Cupcake Wrappers file. I am a January birthday and I would love to have a tropical birthday party somewhere warm one of these winters. So this got me thinking. A tropical themed party would be great! I continued looking and saw the 3D Cake Box file. Oh my, a must have right away I knew I wanted a sun on top with a whale jumping back into the water!
Then I traveled to Silhouette's Design Store to see what other SnapDragon Snippets files I could incorporate. Everything seen is from either SVGAttic.com or SnapDragon Snippets in the Silhouette store.
That is real sand that I used on the lower portion of the 3D Cake box.
^Back of the cake box.
You cannot have a tropical themed party without some tropical drinks involved! My favorite drink is the Mai Tai, yummy!
No birthday party couldn't be complete without cupcakes!

Sonja, how fun to see all of the SnapDragon files you pulled together for this fun tropical post. Wondering if a list of the designs could be added, so we could re-create your wonderful ideas! I especially love the 3d pineapples and the way you used them. They are large projects, so that makes you a superwoman!
