I just like to smile...
...smiling is my favorite! This 'Elf' inspired set comes from Sanqunetti Design's Christmas Elf SVG file (http://www.sanqunettidesign.com/).
I started off with a little bit of research so I had to watch the movie of course!
This stamp like card is actually a gift card holder. Perfect for that person that is hard to shop for!
Although this ornament file is a flat file, I decided to cut multiple cuts out and make it into a 3D ornament.
As part of my Christmas Eve gift to my son, I included this cup using vinyl.
The snow globe card was my favorite of this set I did. For many years I was able to collect a special snow globe every year for Christmas from my dad.
This card not only has a scene of New York in the background, but it has snowflakes, sequences, and glitter in it to make it more realistic. When you shake the card, those items move around. I took it a step further though. I used white vellum paper on the back of the globe. I did this so that I could put a LED light behind it to change the color of the globe.
One of my favorite globes that I have from my dad is a color changing one that blows snow up! I wanted to incorporate some of my personal memories and I think I conveyed them pretty well!
Fabulous project. My fav is the card. Too cute.
