Fall Milk Can Flowers

Hello all! My daughter and I were cruising Joann's one day. I saw this cute little (4.7 in x 7.8 in) milk can by Jillibean Soup and thought I could do something with it.

I got started with some sunflowers.
I used my Caliart Alcohol markers to float some color in.
And pretty much after this, the project sat on my desk for a week while I tried to find the motivation to complete it and everything else going on around here.
I finished up with making roses, daisy's, and some little orange filler flowers.
I've had this ribbon up on my peg board for over a year now just waiting for the right project to come along and use it for.

Once all my flowers were formed, it was super easy to just pop them onto a toothpick and yes I burned the tips of my fingers off with hot glue, and pop them into a foam ball. This is the first flower project that I have cheated and bought silk leaves for.

I left the flower arrangement as a floating one so that I can remove it and make this an interchangeable thing for the seasons.
